Cookie & Local-Storage Policy · Roamlore

The mobile app
The Roamlore mobile app does not use cookies and does not use any advertising or cross-app tracking technologies (no advertising identifier / IDFA / AAID, no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs).
The app does store a small amount of data locally on your device using standard app storage, purely to function. This stays on your device and is not used to track you:
| What we store locally | Why |
|---|---|
| Your login session (authentication tokens) | To keep you signed in securely |
| An in-progress recording (including buffered GPS points) | So a recording can be recovered if the app closes |
| An offline "outbox" of routes waiting to upload | So routes you record offline aren't lost |
| Small interface flags (e.g. onboarding seen, pending invite/referral codes) | To remember your place in the app |
You can clear this local data at any time by signing out or uninstalling the app.
Our website (when live)
Our web companion at roamlore.app is not yet live. When it launches, this policy will be updated to describe any cookies it uses (for example, strictly-necessary cookies for sign-in) and your choices about them.
